Our sales representatives work with each client to establish the individual needs for their particular function. Event Staffing

The Butler Did It draws its supervisory, bartending and wait staff from a large roster of service professionals. This enables us to maintain high standards, even on our busiest days. It also ensures that we are able to tailor each team to the specific needs of each function - be it sit-down dinner, buffet, or reception. All The Butler Did It servers are "Smart Serve" certified, ensuring responsible alcohol service at all times.

Here is a brief summary of our primary staffing services:

Wait Staff

• Carries out full set-up of function space,
  including tableware, seating arrangements and display decor
• Conducts all table service in a timely, pleasant manner
• Responsible for tear-down and clean up of function space
• Professionally groomed in standard attire

Bartender

• Carries out full set-up of bar space: glassware, alcohol, condiments,
  ice, garnishes, and display/décor
• Inventories alcohol at beginning and conclusion of each function
• Responsible for full closure and clean-up of bar area
• Equipped with bar kits
• Professionally groomed in standard attire

Head Wait

• Communicates event details and expectations to the team
• Works in wait or basic bar capacity
• Assists with basic kitchen duties
• Works under direct supervision
• Professionally groomed in standard attire

Supervisor

• Liaises with client and receives information prior to an event
• Reviews event information and makes recommendations
• Facilitates set-up and layout of the function space
• Onsite liaison between client, kitchen, event planners and venue
• Responsible for timing and execution of front of house service
  in conjunction with client
• Monitors arrival and finish times, submitting hours for billing
• Provides event feedback to the office which is forwarded to the client
• Professionally groomed in business attire unless otherwise specified

Support Staff

The Butler Did It takes pride in our ability to be able to provide staff for any job requirement.
We have provided chefs, chef assistants, bar assistants, coat check, sommelier, kosher knowledgeable staff, hosts and hostesses, clearing, cleaning and set-up staff.
